Wanted to share my DIY repainting project I did this weekend. My wicker needed a more modern facelift. Let me know what you think? Photos

Hi Marla,

Wow! What paint/prep did you have to do? I have a green wicker side table I've been wanting to paint white to match my chair but haven't been brave enough to do it. Looks gorgeous!!!

Cheerio!

I didn't think I would be able to do it either. It was a big project but very easy. Besides a little cleaning I just used Valspar Brown Velvet Satin finish spray paint. Went through about 12 cans for my loveseat, 2 chairs and table. Still have 2 small end tables to do that's this weekend project. But it went on very easy. Good luck and share pictures. Thanks by the way for the nice compliment.

Well you've inspried me! Now to get some consistent weather so I can do some outdoor jobs like this. It's been a wet and unpredictable time where I live and projects like this need to be dry and have ventilation.

Thanks for the tips on the paint & I'll definitely update when I get to it :)
