I am always looking for new, innovative ways to get my exercise in. What is your latest way?
A few months ago, I took up pole dancing! I absolutely love it. I love the group of girls I spend 90 mins with each week, I LOVE the confidence I've found since starting, and I love the fun way to excerise.
Pole dancing is a blast. I have actually started doing yoga in the morning with the kids, they love it and its good for everyone. We try for 4 days a week and its so cute to see my little 2 year old doing poses on her own while she's playing. Plus its fun mommy and me time, 2 birds 1 stone.
I second that: YOGA!!!! You can easily do 10 minutes here & there. It is SO relaxing as well as strenghening. It's great for the body AND soul!
It's become cliche, but taking the stairs instead of the elevator is always a good workout.
When I am on the phone or brushing my teeth, I do leg exercises: squats, leg lifts etc. I can get in an extra 10-15 minutes of toning per day! Also, getting up & walking during TV commercials adds some cardio to your day & makes the commercials go by more quickly.
