I'm so excited that People Magazine is featuring my tips for outdoor dining decor – as you know, I love to set a stylish table and I love entertaining so I was thrilled when they asked me to weigh in for the perfect summer table!
Plus, I dressed the table with two great items: seaside rope wrapped glass balls and melamine Le Cadeaux blue outdoor tumblers from my store invenTORI.com.

Check out the article in the current issue of People Magazine, on stands now!
How do you set your table to entertain outdoors during the summer?
Love,
T

Congrats on the People article! I really enjoy your decorating ideas. Decorating brings me SUCH joy! Making a house a home is very rewarding to me. Sometimes the smallest detail can turn a whole room around! Ilove to change things up, even if it is just rearranging furniture! It can make a rrom feel "new" & it costs nothing!

Well since I love gazing balls I have a collection in the center of my outdoor table in varying degrees of sizes from largest to smallest encircling a Mushroom Solar Light. I have also used a large platter that had exotic tomatoes imprinted in the design in the bottom with 4 ceramic birds that stand around the edges and all look inwards, when it rains it looks like they are in a pool of water enjoying themselves. I also have made a succuent garden in a large round bowl with a whimsical ironwork statue in the center playing a pipe (like garden music). I used different colored glass candle holders for drink coasters and ceramic sun faces for drink coasters.
Tori did you actually do the wrapping of the hemp string onto those glass balls? You know those antique fish net balls cost a mint!!!! And I love love love those, wish I bought them when I was a kid when they were cheap in the sea shell shops..lol!

Hi Tori
Wow, great job on the tablescape. I love decorating my indoor or outdoor tables and I do them different each time. Today I had a friend over for tea. I purchased two beachy blue extra large cups that look more like soup bowls. The handle had a tiny bird and the outside had branches. Very very pretty. I got them at Marshalls. I used the beachy blue color and mixed in pink and white polka dots. I thought it would be fun. We tried to do this outside but it started to rain. I also used white daisys in vintage bottles on my table, that looked pretty too. They sat in a old narrow crate with a handle that I painted white. Its so fun right, decorating.
happy day and congrats on the Peoples article

omg I love that blue cup! we have small like orange juice/lemonade sized glasses in that color with a matching pitcher we found at an auction in atlanta! I don't tend to entertain outside as I hate bugs and heat :)
