Happy New Year everyone! I hope you had a fabulous (and very safe) New Year’s Eve, and that you’re excited for the brand new year ahead.

I can’t wait to see what 2013 has in store for the McDermotts, and you can be sure that you’ll hear about any new milestones right here first.

Happy New year McDermont's from our home to yours ! I look forward to seeing more Antiques, Garage sales,refurbished items,and of course crafting. Most of all I just love to see that although you and Dean are Famous actors, your family is just like mine. You love all the same things I do. Most of all just being a mom & wife. I really like when you put videos of your family on, just like Home Sweet Hollywood. I don't even watch tv and I turned it on one day and watched your show and really enjoyed it and became a big fan so more videos is my vote! -

I would also like to see your house too! I think you're keeping the original house with the property for the animals? Just making it bigger??... Not sure, but I guess it is really none of our buisness?!... I just miss seeing your homelife.. Also, I can agree that I would like to see your house for decorated reasons, as well!! I loved the way your family room came out in your old house! You surprised Dean & he LOVED it!! The Show ended with you all on the couch... Loved that!! Xo....... You Know I have that on DVR!! Along with 25 others & your movies & Deans... BTW, I got the "DVD/Recorder/Vcr" in Line recording!! They said I could record what's on my DVR to a Dvd or Vhs!...Also, Cable guy said it can be done! He will be doing it!! Yay!! It better work!!
Anyway, I would also Love you to show us some of your antiques you find in yard sales, Estate sales or wherever! At least some of your Great Finds!! I realize you cant share All of it with us! Lol!... As I said, Don't stop doing what you're doing it's Just Perfect!! Love & Hugs! Xo -

Happy New Year from Australia! I love Editorial! I like the pictorials, the mumvo posts and the crafting ideas in particular. I have recreated quite a few with my kids. I would also like to see some pics of how you've decorated your house. I have three young children & am renting and need some ideas for temporary interiors that make my house feel like a home. Your sense of style is amazing :) y Keep up the good work & I wish you & your family all the best in 2013.

I thought it would be nice if you posted more about you and Dean. We see heaps of things you do with the kids, but not so much of Dean and you. Maybe some collaboration posts from you and Dean on advice to other parents, married couples? Just a thought.
Also, last year you did a competition of a Skype chat and some live chats with members of EdiTORIal. It would be really cool if you were able to do more of this. I understand that this takes time, and we al know that with 4 children and multiple jobs to keep track of, time isn't exactly plentiful.
Enjoy 2013 Tori, and hopefully you mark the big 40 with style! -

I love reading your blogs, seeing you and your beautiful family in pics and on tv. You are such a relatable warm person, with the best trait - a wicked sense of humour!!! So don't change at all. What I want more of you ask.... I would love to see more of your house. I am in Australia so we only get to see old episodes or re-runs, but that doesn't matter. You have a style that I love, and classic styles last throughout the decades. I also want to see more of what you and the kids are wearing. Everything else is spot on. I love your gay husbands, and your pets, and just the whole vibe. You have inspired me more than anyone (even my fave Jamie Oliver) to get into the kitchen and cook up a storm, make a mess, encourage the kids to cook, and laugh all the way. Love ya T.

Someone below said that you are an inspiration to them, and someone else said that they feel happy each time they watch your show. I second that! Even coming here to your blog makes me feel happy. You are such a crafty lady, and so am I, so I am not only inspired but excited to see what you have come up with next. I was a fashion major in college many ions ago, and still love fashion. Old movies inspire me to design and refashion my wardrobe. Your vintage pieces excite me, and inspire me to sew or repurpose something I already have. I am really enjoying Deans blog also. We are truly enjoying the recipes and tablescapes you both share. Our whole family enjoys your show. Our kids have sort of grown up with yours, via TV and have worn your Little Maven clothes until the couldnt fit into the largest size you make. They are BIG boys, like their daddy. The boys know Monkey and Buggy (what they know them by) and Hattie and Finn just a wee bit from your blog. So I can't just pick one thing I like best. I guess I would like to see more of everything. Especially interior designs, I guess. I am lacking in that area, I'm afraid. Fashion I can do, but my home could use some inspiration. Oh, I thought of something else. A menu of what you feed your family on a weekly basis. Even if it's simple and doable. I am in need of inspiration there also. I hate grocery shopping. I never know what to buy. Thanks for being a role model for us mom's and wives out there. You make me want to be purposeful in my marriage, my parenting, my home, my life, my gift giving, my celebrations, and my style, even when I don't feel like it. So thanks!! -
Happy New Year Tori and beautiful family!! Hope your NYE was snowy and safe. Here we experienced the wettest countdown to the New Year EVER (I think a months worth of rain poured down the last hours of 2012 and the first of 2013), so lighting our fireworks didn't turn out to be the highlight of the evening. But we had family, games, music, loads of food and some bubbly, so still a very good time!
Keepers are the foodieposts, the documenTORIals and the picTORIals. I love the Momvoposts, those posts are really giving me an interactive feeling. And maybe an online course partyplanning, as a sequal to celebraTORI? And you can never ever have enough vintiquing, in ever possible way (fashion, styling your home, etc.)
Can't wait to see what twentyTORIteen will bring us! -

I would love to see your new home and how you start your day and what it entails with having 4 children and a husband..I'm interested in how you decorated the new home you just bought..you have such style!! Looking forward to many more of deans recipes.I see he will be on a special cook off celebrity ,I will certainly be watching and know he will win! Everything on your blog is perfect! I love that you share your family photos and everyday life in your home. The only thing I might want to see more of is home style and design. I love your style! Other than that, I have to agree with everyone else's comments. You have a wonderful family! When you share your fun, happy moments it makes me remember the fun, sweet times when my children were that age. Thank you! Happy New Year and lots of love to each of you!
