I was a Girl Scout for almost 10 years. I made some great friends, and had many experiences that i will forever treasure. These ideas for cookies look great! My favorites was always thin mints and peanut butter patties. This post took me way back. -
I used to give blood in high school only because they served samoas as a snack afterwards! They are pretty sweet for me now, but I am pinning that tart for my next party. Pretty! -

Always cool to support young girls & help give them a sense of pride & independence! Love these cookies in their "original form", but these recipes look divine! I think the Girl Scout Tagalong cupcakes (version 2!) look like something I MUST try ASAP! -
Thanks Tori....its good to know that there are other options to eating these delectible treats. There is only 2 weeks left to this incredible time of year :) The cookie season is more then just selling cookies and ruining diets lol....its about giving our daughters a sense of building a business, dream building, goal setting, graciously accepting NO from customers, being able to appreciate and be greatful to their supporters and cheerleaders to their fellow girl scout sisters. If you know a local scout to support - know your doing more then just buy cookies :) If you cant eat them or dont need/want them remember our troops with an Operation Thin Mint donation.....Our troops serving overseas will get ataste from home when these goodies and notes of support get mailed out in May (approx).
