From the moment we got to the hospital in preparation of Finn’s big arrival I was a nervous wreck. We had a scheduled C-section, and even though I’d been through this 3 times before I was a mess. Super anxious, totally scared, dreading surgery and thinking the worst.
Luckily, I had Dean and Mehran (my 2 husbands) with me, along with my amazing friend and doctor (Dr. J) and my wonderful nurse Mykel (who was also my nurse when I was a resident in the hospital for those long months during the pregnancy) who did a great job of calming this pregger down and assuring me that everything would be ok.
After an hour or so, it was finally time to head into the operating room and welcome Finn into this world. I’m so happy Mehran was there to catch this video message to Liam, Stella, and Hattie as Dean and I headed into surgery where we would finally meet our little man…
Clearly, I was totally emotional as we went into surgery, but luckily I had great people supporting me (including my lucky teddy bear... which was Hattie's bear that she brought to me during my hospital stay and it slept as a pillow under my belly for the rest of pregnancy... I still sleep with that bear every night) and while I was nervous and worried as we walked into the operating room, I knew that the moment was finally here where we would welcome this miracle baby of ours into the world...
Who all was with you at the hospital to hold your hand and calm you down when you brought a new babe into this world?
Love,
T

Since my son's father was not involved in our lives by this point (really for the best) I had my friend, my mom, my dad, and my doula for support. They were the best four that I could ever ask for. This next time, hopefully sooner rather than later, I will have my soon to be husband, doula, midwife, a friend, and our birth photographer. -
OMG! Brings back so many memories when I was having my beautiful little girl Victoria who is now 2 1/2 which is hard to believe! They grow so quickly. My oldest will be 15 in April and my "baby" boy will be 7 this Sunday. Makes me want one more!!! -
Love your documenTORI's!! You are a strong, passionate, caring CREATIVE person and your love for friends and family are an example for all - a true inspiration on many fronts.
I look forward to your emails and my only request is more tv shows!! -

I love your original design by Tori. You went through a lot with Finn. This birth will be most memorable as Finn has rounded off your family to one of 2 girls and 2 boys which is the dream of several parents. You and Dean did it, Tori! Soon, little Finn will be old enough to be included in the family's many projects. I can't wait to read about these advertures including the updates if Dean's adventures in the kitchen! I congratulated him on his site, but I'll do it again here. Great job, Dean. I'm so glad you won the cook-off on the Rachael and Guy promotion. Your entire fanbase was rooting for you. We were as anxious as Tori! She lives you so much! I haven't seen a woman as supportive of her husband as Tori is of you, and I'm not just saying this; it's true. You're a most fortunate man to have Tori and the kids in your corner. I could see the pride in the eyes of Liam and Stella. Little Hattie could tell something special was going on but she loves her daddy and mama as much as a toddler can! -
Thanks for sharing. Super special! At the birth of my daughter my mom en hubby were there and when my son was born only my hubby was there bevause my mom was at home with my daughter so i had peace of mind:) -
I too thank you for sharing a bit of your life with us. You seem so relatable and down to earth. Feels like we can really connect to you!
I had 6 childbirths and my husband was at my side with all of them. For #5, we had an amazing experience because my older 4 children were there to witness their baby brother come into the world. (My oldest son sat in a chair and ate popcorn! LOL) -
I love how you share your experiences. You are such an inspiration. I was also on bed rest for 7 weeks in a hospital and welcomed my beautiful twins Charlotte and Cole on 8-21-12. Hospital stays are so emotional but the outcome is so worth it. congrats to you ad thanks for the posts. -
OMG Tori you are a true inspiration. I only hope that one day I can be as good a mother, wife, daughter, sister & friend that you are. Your dad would be SOOOO proud! -
Hi Tori-Thank you for posting your journey with your newest addition. I also had my son Deaglan Aug 30 2012. He was 5wks early and it was so emotional. Knowing he would be my 3rd and last one. thank you again for posting. -

I am not one to follow celebrities and their lives at all, but from the moment I watched the first episode of Tori and Dean, I was obsessed. Not in the "I'm gonna stalk you" kinda way, more of the inspirational kind of way, lol. There is just something about you guys that made me fall in love. Thank you so much for sharing these moments. I love being able to see your family and get more and more inspiration from you! XOXO -
That just made me cry! I had two C's myself, and I was worse with the second, because I knew what to expect. I soooo know how you were feeling. Keep keepin' it real, Tori. It's why we love ya! -

Tori!
You Dear Girl!!
You did good!
You are so brave to show the world honest emotion!
I have been there and done that too. Yes, memories.
As Momma Used To Say--Thanks for keeping it real!! -
Now that was is what "about to give birth" looks like! Dress hiked up, needles hurting and crying from being nervous...aahhh the memories! Thank you for keeping it real! -
2/12/13' - Tues. @10:32a.
this video of you going to the C-Section. that makes me teary because it reminded me of my son(who is now 3 yrs old). I was so freaking scared of having a c-section because I was not sure what will happen to me. the werid thing is that my son came out healthy which is a huge plus for me to know that he is going to be fine! He cried! haha. LOL! It was a good thing to learn new things about C-section because you will never know what it will do to them but at the end it will be fine. :)
Thanks for sharing your experiences with us and it means alot to us all (including me!). :)

Wow T, talking about a crescendo! You can see the tension growing. It is all soooo relatable (is that an English word?) as a fellow-mum; so superthrilled that the baby is coming but you know that there is still a huge bump to take, and I am not talking about the belly this time. My first time in the hospital there was my husband, the midwive and a nurse. The other two times I was at home with just the hubs and the midwive. I had speedy and rather uncomplicated deliveries and without painting a too rosy picture (I mean, giving birth really, really, REALLY hurts!!!) I loved giving birth in the intimate atmosphere of my home, without too many people.
And by the way: loved the way your socks gave your stylish look a very down-to-earth twist! Giving birth in the end is so very unglamorous (despite your gorgeous hospital-gown), I applaud you for your bravery to show us that side! -
