One of the very last things I had to check off the list before Finn’s arrival was packing my bag for the hospital! Luckily I had two of the cutest helpers around, Liam & Stella, to make sure I had everything I needed to welcome Finn into this world. Here’s our home video of getting my bag packed for the big day:
So now our bags were packed, Finn’s first outfit was picked out, and I was officially a blonde again, which meant one thing… we were ready for baby’s arrival!
It was now time to leave home and head to the hotel for our “baby-cation”! We live about an hour away from Los Angeles, so we decided to have the whole family stay at a hotel near the hospital – that way, I’d have my babes nearby while I was in the hospital, and we could spend as much time together as possible during those few days.
So, with bags in hand, we left our house for the very last time with Hattie as the baby of the family. It was such an exciting feeling knowing that next time we were home, we’d have one more babe to love and cherish.
How did you prep for baby in the final days of being a pregger?
Love,
T

I spent the final 5 weeks of my pregnancy in the hospital on bedrest, so I didn't get to do much preparation! I didn't even have a baby bag packed, because the pregnancy was so crazy and took so many unexpected turns. When the babies were born, we had nothing for them, but we didn't need anything because we had a very long NICU stay. Looks like you were well prepared for this baby! -
I just sat here for over a hour watching all these videos I just love to see what tori is doing next, so want to see more photos of house and decorations you did, I guess it's true , time flys when your having fun. Xo -

love how you show all aspects of your life! I think the way you do it makes you less likely a pap target. You scoop yourself before they can ;) -
Love, love your videos! Brings back good memories of when I had my 2 little boys by c-section like you and all the prep going to the hospital. You looked gorgeous! All the family staying at the hotel is so special and love how your other children were so involved in Finn's arrival. Love ya! -

Love your videos! It's amazing with each pregnancy you are as excited as if it were your first! How did I prep in my final days--- Well, we had just moved into our first home ---a lovely Victorian style with lots of woodwork. (to clean-lol)My Son was "expected" to be here on Oct 13th...So my husband and I said we will work on the house-decorating, cleaning, preparing until Sept 22nd. That way we would have 3 weeks to relax and embrace the moment! Well, I should've known by the way I was folding, refolding, folding and refolding my quilts that Baby Boy was coming early! My Son was born Sept 21st! (Surprise!! My Mom's Birthday) Guess he thought we meant we only had until Sept 22nd before he came-lol! All things happen for a reason! He's a miracle! All the searching I did for the "perfect" coming home outfit was just for fun...because the little peanut couldn't even wear preemie clothes! Beautiful memories!!! -
This is so cute thank you for sharing so many intimate details of your life! The video is so special enjoyed watching again thank you! -
Tori, I just want to say a Huge THANK YOU for the video's and most of all sharing with us all. Video's make it feel so much more connected and real. Your family is the cutest!! Once again Thanks for sharing your REAL life with me. -
Cute picTORIals! You can sort of sense the excitement and I love it that you stuck together as a (huge I might add) family to welcome the new familymember. It was you ofcourse who put in (literally) the most labour, but you made it into a team effort. Inspiring to see. We try to make the most out of the most ordinary things by doing it together as a family. It's a win-win: you get things done and spent time together. Allthough we draw a line at grocery shopping: no QT whatsoever in there for us, we all loathe it!
