With Valentine’s Day tomorrow (how is it mid-February already?!? Wasn’t it just New Year’s Eve??) I’ve been thinking a lot about what this holiday means to me. Love the last quote! Every year I treat not just my husband (love of my life for 20 yrs now, yaaay), but also my kids who I love to pieces with a baked, heartshaped goodie. This year I'll make a huge heartshaped Red Velvet Cake with Creamcheese Frosting, speckled with red edible glitter to glam it all up. -
50 years of marriage this April.. I love all of these! I especially like the one about you falling out of love by choice. That is so true! We celebrated tonight and my husband gave me a beautiful pair of earrings. I am going into hospital in the morning, but I know that I am much loved. My husband makes me laugh every day and I know that I am blessed. Joanned Woodward took the words right out of my mouth!! My hubby of 30 1/2 years and I met the Weds after the Friday Valentines day, 1980.....wow, 33 years!!!! He is the silliest man I know.
