It’s official… I’m a Decade Mom! Liam, aka Monkey — (FYI, he did grant me permission to still call him this, the nickname I gave him as a baby, forever!) — turned 10 this past March. Liam knew exactly what he wanted for his birthday celebration… a backyard campout. Liam wanted to keep it small and cozy, (Liam’s fave adjective since he could speak ), with his 10 best buds from school. We combined two firsts for my dude that just hit double digits — a sleepover and a campout. Of course with me as the camp director, it turned into a GLAMPing experience. Welcome to Camp Liam…

Go big or go home! This gigantic and fantastic tent took up our whole yard but provided the ultimate Glamping experience!

The amazing Canvas Camp tent easily provided sleeping for 10. Each friend got their own Coleman kids sleeping bag, (along with lanterns and headlamps), and Igloo snack coolers and water bottles — filled with camping snack necessities like trail mix, beef jerky, chips, and Gatorades. Duduk provided the chicest floor pillows and poufs, (all the way from Bali), for everyone to hang out on. They are amazing — if you use code DUDUKTORI15 you guys can receive a 15% discount on all orders until May 10th! We also had a faux campfire from Domestic Objects set up in the tent. The boys loved their chic and cozy campground.
My friend, Chad, who owns Fun Flicks came by and set up a giant blow up movie screen complete with popcorn machine and all.  They chose to watch Rogue One and all got cozy with blankets to keep warm.

We had fun camp food like mini sliders, mac and cheese balls, chicken skewers, pigs in a blanket, and franks & beans. I decorated our tables with a mix of my vintage finds, which included some antique lanterns I have had for years!!

And, no party of ours would be complete without an amazing dessert table!

Beverly’s Bakery made all of Liam’s favorite desserts, including chocolate dipped rice crispy treats, cake pops, macaroons, and the most amazing Camp Liam cake in red velvet, (Monkey’s favorite.) All the sweet treats had a nod to Liam’s fave color combo of neon pink and green.

And, these adorable and tasty candy kabobs were homemade for Liam and his friends by Sweets From Heaven.

For activities, there was lots of “Monkey’ing Around!” and the bros also played croquet and badminton on sets from Coleman, and had an adventurous outdoor scavenger hunt. We ended the evening with a good old fashioned s’mores making session by the fire pit.

Everyone went home with their own Coleman sleeping bags, light sticks, and head lamps. All with these adorable mini tents from Domestic Objects that I personalized for each boy.

It’s always sad when Camp is over! But I know my Monkey and his campers all had an amazing time.

My guy officially is in double digits now! And, boy did we celebrate. This party was so much fun that I think we’ll have to do another family campout very soon! What do you do at your family campouts?
