The McDermott Family Gallery Wall {made using CanvasWorld}

Spring is just around the corner, and I couldn’t be happier about it. Whenever this sunny season arrives, I always look for little ways that I can refresh my wardrobe and home décor to add a little extra sunshine. And even though it never got too cold here in Los Angeles during the winter, there’s still something about the beginning of spring that makes everything feel exciting.

I knew that I wanted to make a few updates in our home to prepare for the new season, so I’d been scouring Pinterest for ideas and inspiration. After seeing so many gorgeous gallery walls, I decided that I wanted to redo one of the walls in our home and turn it into a beautiful family photo collage.

Luckily I came across this amazing site,, which helped me with the whole process. CanvasWorld lets you turn any photo into a museum-quality canvas print! It was seriously so easy, which is a lifesaver for a busy mama like me. I just uploaded my digital pictures, and in just a few steps my order was on its way! They even throw in expert photo retouching for free. Amazing, right?

Our family photos are so special to me, and I wanted to feature some of my favorite shots that our amazing photographer Elizabeth Messina captured. I chose a few individual prints, and then made a canvas collage that featured all 4 of my babes.

It was such an easy process… I just ordered the canvases online, and they were delivered right to my doorstep in no time at all! They’re super easy to hang too, and the kids had so much fun choosing where each canvas should go. And the best part? They’re made in a totally environmentally friendly way, which is important for an animal lover like me. I have to say, I’m pretty in love with how this wall turned out. It’s such an easy way to update your space for spring. Thank you CanvasWorld for making this busy mama’s home décor wishes come true!

What do you think of my new collection of canvases?
