If you watched last night’s episode of True Tori, you saw the birthday party that we threw for Miss Hattie Cat. She turned 3 years old in October, and she wanted a garden fairy party, so that’s what she got! It was such a gorgeous and DIY-filled afternoon with our family and closest friends. And Hattie had the best time! She got to wear a tutu, get her nails done, do some crafting (that’s my girl!) and enjoy some sweet treats. Here’s my picTORIal of Hattie’s 3rd birthday party…
DIY’d her whole outfit! I bought a pink fairy costume and wings online, and then bedazzled the whole outfit with tons of sparkly rhinestones. And then we made her a beautiful delicate flower crown/headband. She loved all of her birthday fairy creations!
I DIY’d my fairy costume too! I bought that dress on sale in a strip mall with my friend Scout just a few days before the party on sale for only $3.99! I added a piece of black lace to make a belt and accessorized with a black flower crown and big black fairy eye lashes.
I can’t believe my girl is 3 years old!

There were beautiful balloons from Balloon Lagoon…
Then, it was time for tutus! We enlisted the help of Cheryl Fudge Fashion Camp, who provided these sweet tutus and embellishments, so each girl could craft and design her very own tutu.
Of course Hattie went for a pink one!
Tutu heaven! Oriental Trading Company provided tutus too, so we would have enough for all of our party guests.
Then, it was time for Cheryl Fudge Fashion Camp & the girls to personalize their tutus with these super cute embellishments.
Here’s my mini craftista Stella working on hers!
After the tutus were done, the ladies from the Sechoir Plus gave all of the girls a glam makeover complete with hair extensions, beautiful braids and glitter (temporary) tattoos
The girls loved it!
After the girls had their hair done, it was time for a manicure! The Piggy Paint nail team was there to provide Hattie & her guests with manicures. We love Piggy Paint, because it’s non-toxic and totally safe for little ones.
My gorgeous girl, waiting for her nails to dry. Can you tell she loves the color pink?!
There was face painting by the faeries from Happily Ever Laughter…
Which the girls loved too…
With Hattie’s very own fairy princesses! The fairy princesses from Happily Ever Laughter were amazing, and were such a big hit with all of Hattie’s party guests!

Miss Hattie Cat, enjoying the dessert table…
Hattie loves bubbles, so we had Bubble Mania set up a big bubble station that the kids loved.

And of course we had a bouncy house… it’s a McDermott favorite!
Such a sweet father daughter moment
And then it was time for the piñata!
Finally, it was time for cake! We turned to Hansen’s to make Hattie’s fairy tale cake, and I’m so in love with how it turned out.
Hansen’s cakes are a Spelling family tradition!
All of Hattie’s guests gathered around to sing her Happy Birthday!
The fairy princesses from Happy Ever Laughter were amazing!
After the party was over, each of our guests took home an amazing goodie bag…
Come back to ediTORIal tomorrow, because I’ll be giving away one of the goodies bags that her guests took home!
