Making Everyday A Party

main image

SUMMER! It’s my favorite. It’s the perfect time to get outside with the family and celebrate the warm weather, endless fun and tons of parties. For those of you looking for some fun things to do, I’ve got some great tips today to make everyday a party, even went you aren’t planning one.

Forget the party store, gals! I’ve got the perfect inspiration for fun, DIY projects that are easy as 1, 2, 3! Whether you just feel like having fun with your kids or maybe you are planning a fun pink + orange summer themed par-tay, check out a few of my favorite ways to make it party perfect.

Centerpiece

Looking for something to spruce up your table? Add some flowers with a little potting soil into a watermelon. It’s fun, colorful and will really stand out at your neighborhood BBQ. It makes the perfect centerpiece.

Sponge Water Balls

This ones for the kids! Sponge Water Balls are one of my favorite! It’s the new water balloon. When you’re done with them outside, bring them in for fun in the bath.

Flower Straws

Flower straws are simple and fun! Just pick up some pink and orange stripe paper straws from The TomKat Studio, cupcake wrappers and orange ring candy. Flatten the wrappers out, make a hole and top them with a piece of candy. It is the perfect accessory for your straw.

Candy Bar

Make your own mini-candy bar with adorable candy cups. Let them fill em’ up – your kids will love you!

Cupcake

Of course, it wouldn’t be a party without a cupcake! We love sitting them on the adorable mini pedestal from The Papered Nest and topping with Martha Stewart Crafts toppers.

Lanterns

Don’t forget to fill your tables with bright colored lanterns!

Who is ready to party? I’d love to know what your favorite DIY party tip is — please leave me a comment below!

Happy Summer!
