As the kids are growing older they are learning more and more about what each holiday means. So, I decided to ask my kids 2 questions about Thanksgiving and I wanted to share their answers because I thought they were so stinking cute…

1. What does Thanksgiving mean to you?

“Thanksgiving means being a pilgrim. They do lots of chores. They work really hard which is why I’d never want to be a pilgrim. Its a hard job.”

“The pilgrims came over on a Mayflower and planted crops. I like to garden too and wear dresses so I would like to be a pilgrim.”

“Gobble Gobble”

2. What are you thankful for this Thanksgiving?

~(he smiled a toothy grin so I’m pretty sure he’s grateful for his baby teeth so he can actually eat turkey this year!)

Holidays are the best as seen through your children’s eyes! This year I am thankful for my 4 beautiful blessings. Hope you and your family have a safe and yummy Thanksgiving filled with lots of love (and pumpkin pie)!

What are your little ones thankful for this year? Share with me in the comments.
