6 St. Patty’s Day DIYs

You guys know that any mention of a holiday sends my crafting cravings into overdrive, so of course I’ve been on the look out for the best of the best for St. Patty’s Day. And I must say, my search was successful (thanks Pinterest!). I’ve rounded up some of the most creative crafts that are easy enough for even my littlest ones to do this weekend. So collect the kids and grab the scissors, paint and glue, because these St. Patrick’s Day crafts are too cute not to try!

Green Pepper Clovers via Family Fresh Meals

I think I hit the jackpot with this combo of two of my favorite things, crafting and food! And I can use the leftover peppers from a certain St. Patrick’s Day Veggie Rainbow… it’s going to be a crafty weekend! Find out how to make this easy and fun craft HERE

Cereal Rainbow via One Artsy Mama

I know my littlest ones would LOVE this! And a table full of fruit loops will definitely keep them busy for a while, which is always helpful for this mama of 4! Find everything you need to know about cereal rainbows HERE

Four Leaf Clover Hands on Canvas via So Wonderfully Artsy

What mama doesn’t love a piece of handprint art?! These four leaf clover hands are a craft you can do year after year as you watch your little babes grow into bigger babes (bittersweet feelings, I know). Get the instructions for this DIY HERE

Lucky Gold via Yesterday on Tuesday

Lucky me, I found a craft that’s as chic as it is festive! I may just want to keep these out all year long. Get all the gilded details HERE

Leprechaun Down the Toilet via A Differentiated Kindergarten

This is such a smart idea that will definitely surprise the whole family on St. Patrick’s Day. I can just imagine my kids’ faces when they see the little footprints left behind by those mischievous leprechauns! See more of these crafty shenanigans HERE

Handprint Pot of Gold via B-Inspired Mama

The only thing better than a painted handprint is a rainbow painted handprint! And it’s hard not to get excited about a craft that involves chocolate. I can see this craft hanging on the fridge door now… You can find all the details HERE

Will you be celebrating St. Patty’s Day with any crafting?

  • Lemon Meringue

No St. Patrick’s Day for us. I am still recovering from a week in which two of my three kids celebrated their birthday, including parties at school and a big celebration at home for friends and family with loads of homemade food and 6 different cakes and pies (with celiacs in the house DIY food is a must). I know some things in life are not to be planned, but two birthdays within three days, is considered an arithmatical misser between my beloved other half and myself! Although I love to indulge in holidays and I have adapted quite a few anglosaxon ones , just to have another baking excuse, I’ll let this day pass. But nevertheless, these posts are inspiring for the next holidays to come #JustUseDifferentFoodColours

Very neat crafts. And looks super easy which makes them all the better! Loving the feet prints on the toilet! Made me laugh.

  • Pam

We actually did the green pepper shamrocks today in my pre-school class. My kids loved it so much.

  • Jen Carres

Another Green idea is to grow a pet TickleMe Plant from seeds and watch how the leaves go crazy when you Tickle them? Does your house plant move when you Tickle It?

OMGosh I am so thrilled to have my lucky gold be in this round-up. Thank you so much! xo Malia

  • PuttisWorld

Adorable ideas! Especially love the handprint shamrocks and rainbow!

  • Cammy Gollner

Love the fruit “Cherrios” rainbow – but as a Mom who tries to avoid artificial colors I’d try to get one at Whole Foods so the kids can eat the cereal too! (Not as bright colors, though)
